Founded in 2013 by Prof. h.c. Dr. Geir Bjørklund, the Council for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (CONEM) is an international nonprofit that advances research and scientific communication in nutritional and environmental medicine. Bjørklund serves as the organisation’s president.
CONEM collaborates with researchers and specialists worldwide to examine how nutritional and environmental factors influence human health. Through interdisciplinary projects, working groups, and knowledge sharing, the organisation supports evidence-based approaches to public health and contributes to improved health outcomes.
Findings are disseminated via peer-reviewed publications, conference activity, and CONEM’s own channels. Researchers, clinicians, and allied professionals are welcome to engage with CONEM’s network, propose collaborations, or participate in ongoing initiatives.
